We are a Computer Aided Drafting / Computer Aided Manufacturing company located in Knoxville, Tennessee. We utilize the leading software in our industry to perform our work - AutoCAD and Microvellum. We are in the process of developing long term relationships with new clients, as well as maintaining our present clientele, so we are not interested in offering Microvellum services to companies who are only looking to outsource a job now and then. There are a few other companies available that offer that service. We, Paragon Enterprises, Inc., want to be your full time Microvellum Engineering / CAD department. Paragon Enterprises is one of only nine qualified Millwork CAD/CAM companies in the country that offer Microvellum CAD/CAM services. We are staffed with experienced Manufacturing Managers and trained CAD personnel. We offer timely start-to-finish Microvellum generated shop drawings with Overdrive Drive Pro database creation, Nested Optimization and G-Code generation. This includes incorporating Redline Markups and Field Measure adjustments. We also offer AutoCAD Drawing Template creation tailored to your companies specifications, as well as Standard Blocks Library creation to simplify and speed up the drawing process. We will even train your personnel to handle the materials we will be providing your company. All of this from our end will allow you to concentrate on your more pressing business needs, while leaving the entire Shop Drawing, Manufacturing data process up to us.

At Paragon Enterprises, Inc., we strive to provide not just drawings that get approvals, but also drawings that are visually appealing.

Our 2D drawings are created using many different versions of AutoCAD along with the matching version of Microvellum Toolbox. This allows us to meet a wide range of customer interfaces between our product and their capabilities.

Our management team has over 30 years of Drafting and Design experience, and over 45 years of Manufacturing experience. Our CAD department is comprised of AutoCAD and Microvellum CAD operators, who are fully trained in Commercial Architectural Millwork detailing using the Microvellum software. We also have experience working with clients all over the United States, and adapting to each ones specific requirements. And to round things out, we also have combined experience in Product Installation, Solid Surface Manufacturing, Custom Built Furniture and Fixtures, and much more.

With the help of Microvellum, we can create Nested Optimization, Panel Optimization, G-Code for any CNC machine in your plant, a variety of Reports and Part and Product Labels directly from the shop drawings. Or we can create data within Microvellum's Overdrive Pro spreadsheet to provide the same results, separate from the shop drawings all together. This would be useful for those instances when working directly from the Architect's drawings is acceptable, or when add-ons occur well after the manufacturing process has begun.

Also, drawing from our many years of manufacturing experience, we will work closely with your Manufacturing Manager, CNC operator, or operators, and Microvellum Corporation to ensure a painless transition from your current process to the new, Microvellum generated process. We delight in taking what seems a little overwhelming at first to our clients, to getting them up and running quickly.

A full time client is a company who has chosen to use Paragon Enterprises, Inc. as their Engineering / CAD department. Because we offer our Microvellum CAD Services as a package solution to our full time clients, we also provide them with integrated Microvellum training. This training enables our clients to take the information we provide to them on a job to job basis and use that information to update Drawings & Over Drive Pro data, print reports, generate G-Code, create nested optimization, and much more.

However, if your company is not one of our full time clients, we will still train your key personnel. Our non-client training program is more involved due to the amount of information needed ito get the most out of Microvellum once the training has ended, but we will gladly teach them how to use the software.

The training we provide is done either at our facilities or online via GoToMeeting. We believe that our in-house training is the best solution for our full time clients to ensure an uninterrupted class environment. Both of these training methods are meant to serve the needs of communication between our full time clients and us as it relates to the Microvellum generated drawings and data. We want all of our clients to be able to move around in Microvellum with confidence.

Also, our training sessions are limited to a maximum of (6) students per session at our facilities, or up to (10) students per session for our Online training. Sessions range from two eight hour days to four eight hour days in length, and can also be adjusted in terms of days to meet the specific needs of our  clients.

Our Hourly Rates are more than competitive, and are non-negotiable. They are billed monthly on a Time and Material basis.  As stated on our Services page, we offer our Microvellum CAD Services as a package solution to our full time clients. The rates listed below are for those clients only.
